Lascò successfully hosted the CIE Center for Innovative Education in Caserta, Italy the international platform promoted by New Education Forum. This remarkable event provided young people, students, teachers, and experts from the region with a unique opportunity to engage with institutions, political decision-makers, and national and European education leaders, allowing their voices to be heard on the future of education and training in Italy and Europe.

Among our esteemed panellists were, the Vice-president of the European Parliament, Pina PICIERNO; Cécile LE CLERCQ of the European Commission’s DG Education, Youth, Sport and Culture; Tomasz KOBYLAŃSKI, Chief Specialist of the Education Department of the Municipality of Kraków; Claudio MASOTTI, VP of the European Parents’ Association; Joanna BOCHNIARZ, General Director of CIE Center for Innovative Education; Andreas RIEPL, CEO of GTN and Head of the Federal Center eEducation of the Austrian Ministry of Education; Maria del Carmen LÓPEZ CRUZ, Director of the European Funds Department of Cursos Femxa.

The event delved into the unprecedented challenges posed by our rapidly evolving world. From the emergence of new technologies and transformations in the job market to the demand for new skills, including the integration of AI and human abilities, participants explored and discussed critiques and opportunities to introduce a new paradigm in the education and training sector. The aim was to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate the complexities of the modern era.

The CIE Center for Innovative Education Caserta, in collaboration with the Mentor 2.0 – Erasmus+ project, has successfully created an exceptional platform for connection, inspiration, and growth within the education and training sector. The profound impact of this event will undoubtedly reverberate throughout the region, shaping the future of education and fostering innovation in Southern Italy.
